Anxiety Attacks

Anxiety attacks refer to those conditions that are marked by sudden and series of extreme anxiety and intense feelings of panic. Anxiety and stress are said to be the natural defense mechanism. But they can prove to be dangerous if they become intense.

Anxiety attacks are also known as panic attacks. There are no precise warning signals for those attacks. In anxiety attacks, the fears are generally irrational. Often in anxiety attacks, there will be perceived dangers than real dangers. Usually people experiencing anxiety attacks will often fear about their death. Their minds will be filled with negative thoughts.

Symptoms of anxiety attack include shortness of breath, chest discomfort, dizziness, fear of death or going crazy, nausea or stomach distress etc All these symptoms may not be present for all . Different people experience different kinds of symptoms of anxiety attacks. Many people misunderstand panic attack for mental disorder. But it is a condition that involves extreme amounts of stress and anxiety.
