Aromatherapy treatment Aromatherapy refers to the use of herbal oils from flowers, herbs and trees to promote the health and wellbeing. There are various kinds of aromatherapy treatments like massages, inhalation, diffusion, bath and much more. Two types of oils called essential oils and carrier oils form the basis of most of the aromatherapy treatments. These essential and carrier oils have several therapeutic properties in them. Some of the oils in aromatherapy that are used for curing stress are lavender oil, frankincense essential oil, sandalwood essential oil, lemongrass essential oil, cypress essential oil , ylang-ylang oil and much more. Aromas in these oils have feel lifting and stress alleviating properties. They are used for its calming effect and to produce the feeling of joy and optimism. They help in relaxation and reduction of anxiety. They help to boost confidence and ignite a sense of spirit . They relax the nervous system and solve the emotional conflicts and disturbances.
