Breathing Exercises

Breathing exercises are often used for relieving the stress. Particular feature of breathing exercises is flexibility. They are fast, simple and anyone of any age can perform it. They can also be done anywhere at any time. So it is popular world wide. The process involves sitting or standing in a relaxed position and gradually inhaling or taking a deep breath through nose to the head counting five.

Following this, the air should be exhaled through the mouth counting to eight in the head. The practitioner should remember to raise the abdomen expand outward without raising his shoulders. This is the perfect method to breathe.

This method fills the lungs with fresh air and releases the old air. This can be practiced on regular basis or at the time of stress. It can be practiced any number of times per day and is used widely in some forms of yoga.
