Easily Dissolve Stress through Deep Rest:
Stress and stress-related illness are perhaps the greatest basic problem in society. Even having successful deep sleep and dreaming is not enough for more than superficial relief. Hospitals are overloaded, companies are plagued by low productivity and low initiative, marriages are in trouble, children are ruining their lives with drugs, and individuals are living with chronic anger, poor sleep, low energy, and unhappiness. Stress indeed produces many destructive effects.
  • This article introduces a specific and practical solution:
  • What is stress? A new viewpoint that works
  • How you can eliminate stress naturally through deep rest
  • Six easy lessons: do-it-yourself instruction that works for under $50
.

A New Understanding of Stress

Existing definitions of stress are very useful for a scientific understanding. However, they only provide understanding of the physiological markers by which stress can be measured. They don't usually give even a hint on how to eliminate stress.

Understand Stress through a Useful New definition

Stress is abnormality of the nervous system, mostly inhibition of the pathways of the brain, caused by sensory, cognitive, or emotional overload. Stress is caused by stressors (such as exposure to anger and lack of sleep) when the nervous system is not already flexible, strong, and free from stress.

Our nervous system does many wonderful things. One of these eliminates stored stress. It is a normal function that normally does not require any intervention from us. But when it is already weakened by stress, its natural function of stress release is blocked.

Some of our stress is eliminated by the rest provided by sleep. That is why, ideally, we awake completely refreshed and ready for a day of dynamic activity. However, some of the deeper stresses are not affected by the rest provided by sleep. They require a much deeper degree of rest.

A Natural Method That Works

Recent scientific experiments validate a new, natural, and very simple method of eliminating stress called Natural Stress Relief.

Natural Stress Relief (NSR) is an easily-learned, effortless mental technique, practiced for 15 minutes twice a day. Unlike comparable techniques such as Transcendental Meditation®, NSR costs less than $50 and can be learned at home through six do-it-yourself lessons taken over a period of only three days.

NSR uses a natural procedure called transcending (which means "diving within") to bring about a unique state of deep rest in which alertness is maintained. This state of restful alertness allows the body to experience a state of rest deeper than that of sleep, allowing even deep-rooted stresses to be dissolved.

NSR involves no mysticism, religion, or changes to lifestyle. It is just a technique, so it is independent of and compatible with any religion or beliefs.
